Plant your pitch
Words are powerful. With words you can befriend any foe, woo any interest, and convince any parent. In this workshop you will learn strategies to make sure nothing gets lost in translation between your mind and your mouth. You will learn how to tie words into effective sentences that will push more heavily on stubborn minds.
12:00 - 1:30 PM
1:30 - 2:30 PM
Are you curious what life is like after high school? Do you want the opportunity to talk to people who will give you the simple and honest truth? At this workshop we will bring together people who have walked different paths after high school to talk to you about what was important, and what was not. What was memorable, and what was not. What was next, and what was not.
2:30 - 4:00 PM
finding your values
Each and everyone one of us has our own strengths and weaknesses. They lead to our triumphs. They lead to our failures. These attributes paint themselves into the decisions that we make and mold us into the people that we are. In this workshop we will look to see how these traits reflect themselves in our values, and through our values we will dive into how they reveal themselves in the people that inspire us and our hopes for the future.
4:00 - 5:00 PM
Communication should never be one-sided. Join us as we break down a discussion into its pieces and find new ways to makes those pieces fit more easily back together. Put your new found skills to the test in a game that will challenge even the best of communicators.
