  • Yes! The Breakout Sessions are FREE and open to the public. However, all attendees are required to RSVP and agree to OCA’s Code of Conduct and COVID-19 Policy, to receive a badge granting access to the free sessions.

    Other complimentary events include:

    • Thursday: Welcome Reception, Film Screenings, Professional Headshot Booth, Resume/Interviewing Sessions

    • Friday: Plenary Session

    • Saturday: President's Circle Initiative Pitch

  • Full-Package Registration (aka paid registration) includes access to all meals, including:

    • Friday: Youth Recognition Luncheon

    • Friday: Corporate Achievement Awards

    • Saturday: Breakfast Plenary

    • Saturday: OCA Membership & Chapter of the Year Luncheon

    • Saturday: OCA Awards Gala Dinner

    • + Free Convention T-Shirt

    • Senior tickets are designated for individuals who are 65 years of age and older.

    • Youth tickets are available if you are currently enrolled as a student in a K-12 or higher education institution. OCA intern alumni who are not students must purchase either OCA member or non-member tickets.

  • All convention programming will be held at the University of Washington, except for the Thursday Welcome Reception and Saturday OCA Awards Gala Dinner, which will take place off-site. The specific venues for these events will be announced at a later date.

  • Attendees are encouraged, though not required, to book their stay at the convention's recommended accommodation for convenience.

  • Your health and safety are our priority. That’s why we ask all attendees, speakers, and invited guests to sign our COVID-19 Liability and Waiver Form.

    Masking: While masking is not mandatory at our national convention this year, we strongly encourage all attendees to wear masks in indoor spaces, particularly in crowded or enclosed areas, as an additional measure to protect themselves and others from potential exposure to COVID-19.

    COVID-19 Testing: We will no longer be conducting on-site COVID-19 testing during registration this year. However, we still urge all attendees to take proactive measures by arranging for a COVID-19 test prior to their arrival at the convention. This will help ensure a safer environment for everyone in attendance.

  • The dress code for most of the Convention is business casual or business professional.

    Saturday Night Gala is formal/black-tie optional or cultural attire.

  • We will be utilizing the Whova event and conference app. Attendees are highly encouraged, though not required, to use the Whova app.

    With the Whova app you will be able to navigate the event agenda and logistics, even without Wi-Fi or data, communicate with other attendees via the Community Board or direct messaging, view the most updated schedule, watch recorded sessions, participate in interactive activities, and more.

  • Please bring your ID to the check-in/registration table to receive your convention badge. You’ll need to keep your badge with you to access all convention programming.

  • Yes, attendees will need their badge to enter all convention sessions.

  • Full-Package Registration includes a seat to the gala. If you have paid for registration, you are all set for the gala.

  • No, but OCA members do receive discounted registration rates.
